MINNEAPOLIS, MN (March, 7th, 2018) - Northern Ale Guide, a brewery marketing and engagement company was established in 2015 by a group of students at the University of Minnesota. Since it’s conception Northern Ale Guide has worked with more than half of the breweries in Minnesota through its creation of a passport like book and events like the Tipsy Timberer Brewery Crawl.

In 2017, with the help of 4PSR, Northern Ale Guide established Craft Your Community (CYC) as an effort to collaborate with Minnesota breweries on issues that impact our surrounding communities. Our benefiting partner, MATTER, a Minnesota-based global nonprofit is on a mission to eliminate barriers to a healthier life.

Farm in a Box (FIAB) a program created by MATTER, provide small-scale farmers in developing countries with the tools and education needed to thrive. With the support of Twin Cities’ own Angry Inch Brewing, Alloy Brewing, Bald Man Brewing, Lakes and Legends Brewing, OMNI Brewing Co., Wicked Wort Brewing, and other organizations, CYC continues to explore opportunities to bring the FIAB program for the first time domestically to North Minneapolis.

On Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 CYC was able to make available over $85,500 in material resources towards our collaboration during the Gorgui Dieng Project Fundraiser. CYC came together to support the Gorgui Dieng Project Fundraiser by hosting beer during the event.

In 2018, Northern Ale Guide hopes to grow CYC as we continue explore opportunities to collaborate with more organizations in support of MATTER bringing FIAB to North Minneapolis.
